Supramolecular nanosystems

Our research aims at exploiting self-assembly for the realization of smart supramolecular systems. Our favourite platform are nanoparticles coated with a shell of organic molecules. Applications explored include sensing, catalysis (in particular of the cleavage of phosphate esters) and the study of the nano-bio interactions.
