Shane Ardo

Shane Ardo received his Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University, has been an Assistant Professor at UCI since 2013, and was named an inaugural Moore Inventor Fellow in 2016. Shane’s research interests are driven by the pursuit of understanding and controlling energy conversion mechanisms for applications in solar fuels, photovoltaics, solar seawater desalination, fuel cells, and redox flow batteries.
