Jan Ingo Flege received his PhD in 2004 and completed his habilitation in experimental physics in 2016. His current research focuses on the epitaxial growth and understanding of oxide-semiconductor and oxide-metal hybrid nanostructures and interfaces for microelectronics and heterogeneous catalysis, employing and developing in situ microscopic, diffraction-based and spectroscopic techniques.
