Ira Weinstock received his PhD degree from MIT (1990), and is the Irene Evens Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer Sheva, Israel. His research concerns the use of metal-oxide cluster anions (polyoxometalates) in catalysis and to investigate inorganic reaction mechanisms of fundamental importance to molecular and supramolecular chemistry and nanoscience.
