Roberto Dovesi is Full Professor of Chemical Physics at the Torino University. He is the leader of the Theoretical Chemistry Group, that produces and distributes the Quantum Mechanical program CRYSTAL (www.crystal.unito.it), in use in more than 500 laboratories in the world; it permits to investigate the properties of perfect and defective crystalline systems, surfaces and nanoparticles.
