Alec Talin is a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories, in Livermore, California, an adjunct associate professor of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Principal Founding Editor of MRS Communications. His interests include novel materials and devices for low power computing, solid state batteries, and electronically conducting metal-organic frameworks.
