Established in 2016, the ISSI "Galvani - Nernst - Wagner" Mid-career Researcher Award was instituted in order to recognize accomplishments of mid-career professionals, aged 40 to 52 at time of nomination. Candidates must demonstrate leadership and innovation in the field of solid state ionics.
The winner of the first ISSI "Galvani - Nernst - Wagner" Mid-career Researcher Award is Prof. Clare P. Grey. Prof. Grey will present a special invited talk at SSI-21 on the evening of Tuesday, 20 June entitled:
