Sabrina Antonello

Sabrina Antonello was educated at the University of Padova, where she received her Laurea degree in Chemistry in 1996. She obtained her PhD in Chemistry in 2000 with a thesis entitled "Dissociative Electron Transfers", which was awarded in 2001 as the best PhD thesis by the Electrochemistry Division of the Italian Chemical Society. She is an Assistent Professor at the University of Padova. Her research interests include electron transfer across interfaces and electrochemical microscopy techniques.

Federico Polo

He obtained his Laurea degree in Industrial Chemistry in 2003, at the University of Padova. In 2007 he obtained his Chemistry PhD degree, at the University of Padova. In 2008 he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, and then at the University of Munster, Germany. He now is back to Padova and holds a Postdoctoral Fellowship.

Alice René

Born in France in 1984. She received her Master Degree in Analytical Chemistry in 2007 at the University of Pau (France) and then obtained her PhD in Electrochemistry in 2010 at the University of Rennes (France). She was a two-year Postdoctoral Fellow at Purdue University (Indiana, USA). She now is a Postdoctoral Follow at the University of Padova.

Marco De Nardi

Born in 1981. He obtained his Lurea Degree in Chemistry at the University of Padova in 2006. In 2010 he obtained his PhD in Molecular Sciences at the University of Padova. Before joining our group, he was a two-year Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemical Processes for Engeneering, Univeristy of Padova.

Adriana Anselmi

Born 1987. In 2010 she obtained her B.Sc. in Chemistry at the University of Padova and then started the M.Sc in Chemistry. She graduated in July 2013.

Mariachiara Zuin

Born in 1984. In December 2009 she obtained her B.Sc. in Chemistry at the University of Padova. She obtained her M.Sc. in Chemistry in March 2013, and now she is a PhD candidate at The University of Western Ontario.

Federico Zen

Born in 1988. He obtained his B.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry in 2010, at the University of Padova. He obtained his M.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry in December 2012.

Lance O'Hare Go

Born in Philippines in 1987. He obtained his B.Sc. in Chemistry from Atene de Manila University, Philippines, in 2009. For 8 months, starting from September 2011, he was an Erasmus exchange student working on bio-functionalized assemblies of monolayer protected gold clusters for his M.Sc. thesis. He now is back to the Philippines, ready to get his Degree.

Ruth Marian Guzman

Born in the Philippines in 1986. She obtained the B.Sc. in Biology in 2007 from the University of the Philippines-Diliman. She came to Padova in September 2011, as an Erasmus exchange student, and worked on gold nanoparticles as drug-delivery systems for her M.Sc. thesis, in collaboration with Prof. Papini (Department of Biology). She obtained her M. Sc. Degree in April 2012.

Ivan Guryanov

Born in Russia in 1978. He obtained the Master degree in Chemistry in 2000 from the University of Saint-Petersburg, Russia. In 2008 he obtained the PhD degree at the University of Padova. He worked in our group for two years as a Postdoctoral Fellow. He now works for Fresenius Kabi, an international pharmaceutical company. We will try to survive without his precious skills.

Luca Garbuio

Born in Italy in 1984. In 2006 he obtained a B.A. in Cultural Heritage. In 2009 he also obtainedthe B.Sc. in Chemistry at University of Padova. In October 2009 he started his M.Sc. in Chemistry. Within his thesis work, he also spent some months at Columbia University, New York, with Prof. Nick Turro. He graduated in October 2011 and now is a Ph.D. student at ETH Zurich.

Pierangelo Gobbo

Born in Italy in 1986. In 2008 he obtained his B.Sc. in Chemistry, at the University of Padova. He then applied for the M.Sc. in Chemistry and, in September 2009, he started his Thesis work on peptide self-assembled monolayers. He spent four months at the University of Western Ontario (with Mark Workentin) and the University of Guelph, in partial fulfillment of his M.Sc. thesis work. He graduated in October 2010 and now is a Chemistry Ph.D. student at the University of Western Ontario.

Mahdi Hesari

Born in Iran in 1978. He obtained the B.Sc. (2001) and the M.Sc. (2004) degrees in Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. D. Nematollahi at the Univesity of Bu-Ali Sina, Hamedan, Iran. Form March 2009 to April 2010 he was a pre-doctoral fellow at the University of Padova. He now is a Chemistry Ph.D. student at the University of Western Ontario.

Claudio Parolo

Born in Italy in 1985. In 2007 he obtained his B.Sc. in Biotechnology, at the University of Padova. In October 2008 he obtained his Biotechnology M.Sc. degree with a Thesis on "Gold nanoparticles in nucleic acid biosensors", carried out at the Catalan Institute of Nanotechnology (Barcelona, Spain) and co-supervised by Professors Arben Merkoçi and Flavio Maran. Since Jan 2010, he is enrolled in the Chemistry Ph.D. School of the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona.

Jadab Sharma

Born in India in 1974. He obtained the B.S. (1997), the Master (2000), and then the PhD (2006) degrees in Chemistry at the National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India. In 2006, he spent one year as a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Padova. He then was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taipei, Taiwan. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the NanoSciences Group, CNRS Toulouse, France, and now works in a company in India.

Allan Hjarbćk Holm

He obtained the B.S. (2000), the Master (2002), and the PhD (2005) degrees in Chemistry at the University of Aarhus, Denmark. He spent one year (2005), as a Research Associate, at the University of Padova. He held a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Aarhus University, Aarhus, Denmark and now works in a Danish chemical company.

Laura Fabris

She obtained her Laurea degree in Chemistry in 2001 at the University of Padova. In 2006 she obtained her Chemistry PhD degree at the University of Padova. In 2006-2009 she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California at Santa Barbara. Since July 2009 she is Assistent Professor at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering of Rutgers University.

A. Belén Meneses Santos

She graduated at the University of La Laguna, Tenerife (Spain) and in 2000 started her chemistry PhD under the supervision of Prof. M. C. Arévalo and Prof. Maran (Co-tutela between the University of La Laguna and the University of Padova). She obtained her PhD degree from both universities in 2008.

Robert Lee Donkers

He obtained the PhD degree in chemistry at The University of Western Ontario, London - Ontario (Canada) in 2001. After two years as a post-doctoral fellow at The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill - North Carolina (USA), he spent four months in the Maran Group (2003), and then one year at the National Research Council of Canada, Ottawa - Ontario (Canada). He now is a staff member at Waterloo University, Waterloo, Ontario (Canada).
