You are cordially invited to participate in the 8th Spanish-Italian Symposium on Organic Chemistry (SISOC-VIII). The conference will be held in Padova, Italy, July 3rd-6th 2010.
SISOC-VIII forms part of a series of bilateral scientific meetings between Italy and Spain, held alternatively in both countries every two years. Previous bilateral Symposia took place at Valencia (1990), Lecce (1998), Malaga (2000), Perugia (2002), Santiago de Compostela (2004), Taormina (2006) and Oviedo (2008). These meetings are sponsored by the Organic Chemistry Divisions of both the Società Chimica Italiana and the Real Societad Espanola de Quimica.
The meeting aims to provide good chances for personal contacts and scientific exchanges, and to stimulate a useful interaction between Italian and Spanish researchers on various topics of organic chemistry as well as to further enhance the relationship between Italian and Spanish Universities. The event will provide a unique opportunity to contribute to discussions on the most recent developments in organic chemistry
The official language of the symposium will be English.

The venue of the symposium will be the Centro Culturale San Gaetano which is situated in the heart of the city.
