Curriculum vitae

Davide Vendrame, since February 2023, is a Ph.D. student in the "Wet Chemistry and Colloids Group".
Currently, his research project concerns the development of novel inorganic materials as nanofillers for proton- and anion-conducting membranes for electrolyser/fuel cell applications.
Before the doctoral project, he was a research fellow in the same research group, working on a project born from the collaboration between the University of Padua and Reckitt Italia S.p.A. that concerned the development and characterisation of new surfactant formulations for cleaning purposes. His thesis project was carried out in Professor Silvia Gross's research group, focusing on synthesising novel hybrid organic-inorganic nanoparticles obtained by embedding Ti and/or Zr oxoclusters in a polymer matrix and exploring their catalytic activity as heterogeneous catalysts for oxidation reactions. Davide received his Master's degree in Chemistry at the University of Padua in March 2022 and his Bachelor's degree in "Sustainable Chemistry and Technologies" at the Ca'Foscari University of Venice in 2019.
