Curriculum vitae

Dr. Lamberti Francesco is currently holding an Assistant Professor position at UNIPD. He is an expert in optoelectronic materials development (synthesis and processing), structural-property-functionality relations combining a broad range of characterizations.
Among his research works he first understood the importanceof plasmonic component in the self-healing mechanism of Cu2O photocathodes and the possibility of integrating water splitting mechanisms within a solar cells. He completed his Master's and PhD degrees in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Padova, where he gained expertise in electrochemical microfluidic devices for biotechnological applications.
He then worked as a postdoc at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) on perovskite solar cell development, collaborating with experts in the field. Returning to Padova, he contributed to research on organic/inorganic solar cells and nanomaterials for perovskite solar cells. Lamberti also held positions in Chinese private industry, focusing on third-generation perovskite solar cell development. He has been invited scientist at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) for several months. He was appointed by the Chinese government as Oversea Senior Expert. He has authored numerous papers, book chapters, and conference contributions, showcasing his skills in nanofabrication, electrochemistry, solar cell fabrication, and more.
Throughout his career, Lamberti has played key roles in setting up laboratories and securing funding for equipment, demonstrating his leadership and technical abilities. The scientific activity is witnessed by more than 40 multidisciplinary scientific works (with more than 80% with the role of principal/corresponding author) and different oral contributions at national and international conferences achieving an overall H-index of 18, with a Scopus Field-Weighted Citation Impact of 1.22.
