Flavio Maran obtained his Laurea Degree in Chemistry, Summa cum Laude, from the University of Padova in 1980. He took a faculty position in the same university in 1983. He currently is Professor of Physical Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Padova where he leads the Molecular Electrochemistry and Nanosciences Group and teaches advanced physical chemistry, electrochemistry, nanosystems, and electron transfer reactions to graduate chemistry and biotechnology students.

 

He also is:

Adjunct Professor in the Department of Biology and the Department of Chemistry of Temple University, Philadelphia, PA.

Research Professor at the Department of Chemistry, University of Connecticut, Storrs CT.

Research Collaborator in the Department of Chemistry of Princeton University, Princeton NJ

Referee for many peer review International Journals and a Reviewer of Research Projects for European, North-American, and Australian Foundations.
