Project Coordinator
Kubra Ulucan-Altuntas (Kübra Ulucan-Altuntaş in original) is currently an MSCA-IF Fellow at the Department of Chemical Science of the University of Padova under the supervision of Prof. Cristina Paradisi, and a researcher at the Environmental Engineering Department of Yildiz Technical University, Turkey (unpaid leave). She got a PhD degree in Environmental Engineering from Yildiz Technical University. During her PhD, she studied nanoparticle applications in the environmental field and, spent research activity at Technische Universität Braunschweig in Germany.
During her MSCA IF project, she worked on developing a non-thermal plasma treatment process for Perfluorinated Organic Compounds (PFCs) in combination with graphene-oxide-based nano photocatalysts.

Teaching activities: Since 2016 she has taught various courses in the field of Environmental Engineering in bachelor's degree at Yildiz Technical University.
Research interests: Water and wastewater treatment technologies, Application of nanoparticles in water treatment, advanced oxidation processes, electrochemical treatment technologies.
