The PlasmaChor is the plasma research group in the Department of Chemical Sciences in UNIPD. The other studies and projects from the Research Group can be found on PlasmaChor website.
What is PFAS?
Perfluorinated organic compounds (PFCs) are man-made chemicals which have spread in the environment, causing major concern now due to their persistency, bioaccumulation and ascertained or possible effects on human health.
What is Plasma?
Plasma is a partially or fully ionized gas containing free electrons, positively and negatively charged ions, free radicals and excited species emitting UV photons. Almost all visible matter in the universe is plasma. We can give examples of auroras and lightning encountered in nature to plasma.
