Maurizio Coden was born in Pordenone (Italy) in 1988. He graduated cum Laude in Chemistry in 2012 at the University of Padova with a thesis on Relaxation and Thermalization of quantum pure states, under the supervision of Prof Giorgio J. Moro. During his PhD studies, supervided by Prof. Moro, he continued the analisys on the emergence of statistical thermodynamics from a quantum theory and in 2016 he defended his thesis titled Quantum Pure States Statistics towards Quantum Dynamics Simulations. He left university to teach Chemical Sciences at High School for a couple of years. In 2017 he won a position as Post Doctoral fellow in the context of the FET-Open project COPAC (Coherent Optical PArallel Computing, 2017), in the TCG under the supervision of Prof.ssa Barbara Fresch. He was involved in the computational modelling of nanostructured quantum dots in order to develop a device for molecular logic implementations.
