Marco Dalla Tiezza was born in Feltre, Italy, in 1993 and he is currently a Ph.D. student enrolled in a joint doctoral program in Molecular Sciences at Università degli Studi di Padova and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. In 2017 he graduated from Università degli Studi di Padova with a cum laude degree in Chemistry and started his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Laura Orian with the REBEL project (REdox state role in Bio-inspired ELementary reactions). His research field covers the theoretical study of inorganic (group 9 and 11 metals) and enzyme catalysis in order to predict reactivity and tackle molecular systems that would otherwise be difficult to rationalize.
