Curriculum vitae

Guerrini Giacomo is an agronomist, landscape designer and a chemistry laboratory technician.
After a good experience in the field of agriculture and landscapes, in the last years he was involved in studying and developing an innovative project in the field of the sustainable use of the land with the aim to make a significative first step toward the decreasing of energy and chemical inputs on lands in case of coltural activities.
In 2015 he proposed the project “Improving The Soil Structure With Biotic Agents” at the European call SFS-02b-2015 with the collaboration of APRE Veneto and several European Research Centers as partners.
Now, as a guest of the group of Dr. Gross at the Department of Chemistry of Padova, Giacomo is working to synthesize a seed cover compound useful to favour the seed growth. The goal will be to produce this product using biocomatible and biodegradable cheap materials.
Born in Florence, in 1974, Giacomo attended agricultural sciences and technologies at the University of Florence; a Master on Water Basins and Groundwaters in Siena; a Master on Concept Landscape Design in Milan.
From 2001 until 2007 he got experiences in the field of agriculture as agronomist technician with important Italian wine firms, such as Zonin, Tenimento Ruffino, Barone Ricasoli.
Between 2007 and 2012 he worked in the field of ladscaping design and comunication of ideas of use of green spaces mainly as a freelance.
From 2012, observing the abandon of several lands in the Italian and European reality, he embraced the road of innovation as a future resource for better use of lands.
