Curriculum vitae

Federico Barbon is currently a PhD student of the PhD Program in "Science and Engeineering of Materials and Nanostructures" of the University of Padova, working under the supervision of Prof. Silvia Gross. and Prof. Alessandro Martucci.
His research focus is on continuos hydrothermal flow synthesis and analytical characterization of nano- and micron- sized cathode materials for Li-ion batteries, in collaboration with Particular Materials s.r.l. The actual battery test of the prepared materials will be carried out in Turin in collaboration with Prof. Silvia Bodoardo (Politecnico di Torino, PoliTO).
Born in Padua in 1995, he studied Industrial Chemistry at University of Padua where he obtained both his Bachelor (mark: 105/110, 2017) and Master Degrees (110/110 cum laude, 2019). During his Thesis period, he spent 6 months at the Justus-Liebig-Universität (Gießen, Germany) under the supervision of Dr. Wolfgang G. Zeier as part of the Erasmus+ for Traineeship program.
In 2020 he worked as a graduate fellow in the workgroup of Prof. Silvia Gross on the synthesis and characterization of nano- and micron- sized metal oxides.
