Physical Organic Chemistry of Complex Systems

We specialize in developing novel methodologies for the synthesis of supramolecular architectures. Our primary focus is on the synthesis of supramolecular cages and their applications in molecular recognition and catalysis. We also explore chirality, particularly in sensing and the study of novel chiroptical properties.

Our research involves the use of tris(2-pyridylmethyl)amine (TPMA) metal complexes, which form the basis of our molecular architectures. These complexes, whether as mononuclear systems or more complex structures, exhibit fascinating properties as catalysts or receptors.
